MEXICAN CHOCOLATE DRINK
MEXICAN CHOCOLATE
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
½ cup sugar
3 tablespoons instant coffee
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
1½ cups water
4 cups milk
Whipped cream
In large saucepan, heat chocolate, sugar, coffee, spices, salt and water over low heat,
• Stirring until mixture is smooth.
•Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
•Stir in milk; heat. Beat with rotary beater until foamy.
•Top with whipped cream.
8 SERVINGS (about ⅔ cup each).
